Disability Advocacy Program
We provide free legal representation to clients who are denied or cut off from SSD or SSI benefits.
Because we get a large number of requests for representation, we can't take every case. We may ask you to file a Request for Hearing on your own at the Social Security office, and call us back when you get a hearing date. We try to serve clients on welfare and clients with hearing dates first.
If we can't represent you, call the Statewide Lawyer Referral Hotline at 1-800-342-3661 for help finding a private lawyer. Private lawyers usually do not charge any fees unless they win your case.
