What cases are we taking in Onondaga County?

Please note that we can only help you if you qualify for our services.

An intake worker will talk to you first to see if you qualify.

Because our staff is limited, we still may not be able to take your case. In some cases, our services may be limited to advice only.

If we can't take your case, we will try to give you information about other places that may be able to help you.

Here is a list of cases we are taking in Onondaga County:

Landlord/Tenant Problems
We only handle evictions of subsidized housing tenants OR evictions of mobile home owners in Onondaga County. We also handle terminations from the Section 8 Housing Program. For all other kinds of evictions, please call the Hiscock Legal Aid Society at (315) 422-8191 or the Volunteer Law Project at (315) 471-3409.
